Content:Vocal Tone Colour(Timbre) is differences between different sound for both instruments and voices. every instruments and voices. Every instrument has its own tone colour or timbre, e.g. a metal instrument sounds different from a wooden one, and hitting the skin of a drum sounds different from blowing a recorder.
Materials: Poem-The "Snare" a variety of material-seeds, pebbles,sand,peas,beans,other instruments,percussion instruments
Activities: Let the child use different container for different seed and to compare their sound.Below are the different sounds ,these instruments or our voices can produce
Let the child recite the poem using different tone colour.
EVALUATION: students will be asked to compose a poem of the choir .
- Identify differences in vocal tone colour
- Describe the various tone colour of their speaking voice
- Use the various tones of their voices to make recitations of the poem
